What the Telework Association offers:

The Telework Association is the authoritative source of information on working from home. As well as publishing The Teleworking Handbook, we have been promoting to business and lobbying government for greater recognition of the benefits of teleworking.

We also provide services to members to help them to implement remote working. These help individuals to work effectively at home, whether they are running their own business or as an employee. The Association also helps organisations to implement flexible working schemes through services to Corporate Members.

Membership subscriptions to the Telework Association not only support activities promoting the benefits of home working and our lobbying activities, they also provide members with these benefits:

  • A weekly email bulletin with the latest news and information about work opportunities for teleworkers.
  • The quarterly magazine "21st Century Worker" in pdf format covering legislation, grants, technology, case studies, telecottages, workspaces and work opportunities
  • A FREE advert in the magazine for your skills or services
  • A copy of The Telework Handbook, a thorough and practical guide to the pros and cons of telework with lots of tips for survival and written in a highly readable form.
  • Access to the members' area of our website with its discussion forum where you can chat to people in similar work situations and learn from each others' experiences.
  • Advice - email us with your problems or ideas and we'll do our best to help.
  • Discounts on the events we arrange from time to time on various aspects of teleworking including quarterly webinars sponsored by Wisework.

Access to the members' area of our website is only available to paid up members of the Telework Association. Have a look at the Join Information page to see the benefits of membership for individuals and organisations, as well as the fees . The Teleworking Handbook

The Teleworking Handbook, now on its fourth edition, is the essential guide to working from where you want. It is packed with information and advice on matters such as:

  • company teleworking
  • teleworking centres
  • self-employed teleworking
  • training and equipment
  • opportunities and resources
  • staying safe and legal

It is the official handbook of the Telework Association and you will receive a copy if you become a member. Alternatively you can simply buy a copy of the book.
